Service was really friendly with the right mix of laughter and professionalism. The food was superb. Can’t remember the last time I throughly enjoyed all three courses. The portobello mushrooms with blue cheese were delicious and the portion size large. I can’t eat garlic and they went out of their way to make sure that there was no garlic in my meal of lamb straps and were happy to substitute potatoes for the polenta. The lamb was so succulent and the rest very tasty. I “forced” myself to have the creme brûlée and it was crunchy but soft and silky underneath. Will definitely come back if in Nelson again as not only delicious but good value for money.
