Wafu bistro has a nice casual japanese feel to it. The decor is simple without being bland and it was nice to see the chef on working on display preparing the meals. We started with some mixed pickles which were good, then moved onto a sharing plater of sashimi and nigiri. The fish was obviously very fresh and there was a great selection. It was the right amount of food for two people. Our son who is vegetarian had the fried tofu in a dashi sauce. This was nice but there wasn't a great selection for him. We finished with vanilla ice cream topped with matcha green tea powder.
Overall the food was very good but I think a little pricey at $175.
