Had a meal recently following a business meeting. Had a main course and desert with drinks and had very good service in the company of business colleagues. Will certainly have another meal there and recommend to friends and family.

One sometimes takes a website blurb with a grain of salt, but not this place. Such friendly staff, a good wine selection, and something to suit most palates on the menu. The ambience was modern without being too minimalistic - we had a cozy alcove with subdued lighting, but sufficient to read the menu and see what we were eating! Food was not long in coming and was piping hot - tasty and attractively presented. Definitely on our repeat visit list.

We enjoyed an evening at Northstar Restaurant. There were families and couples present all having a good time. A television above the bar was screening a rugby match that was easy to watch or ignore - whatever diners wanted to do. The service was excellent. The staff were incredibly busy and efficient, yet took the time to answer our questions and help us as if we were the only ones in the restaurant. My partner had chicken that was wrapped in bacon and served with vegetables in a non-traditional way - all very nice. I had pork belly that was delicious served with vegetables - also not very traditional. The meals were beautifully presented and we enjoyed the different ways the vegetables had been cooked and combined. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

We stopped here yesterday for lunch before going to our destination. The place was empty and it was around 1.00pm.It took a while to be acknowledge and served.
We sat in what was clearly the bar lunch side (which was fine) as we had walked through an empty more set up restaurant side.
The menu was limited and basic, no specials of the day. Husband had steak and he did say it was very nice. I had the beef burger which I found the beef Pattie to be quite tasteless to be fair.
I wasn't an expensive lunch, to be fair it was really cheap!! I feel bad writing this review as other reviews I've read are all really positive. maybe it was just an off day.
We wont be returning in the near furture.

Exactly as evening dining should be - great service and yum food served in a timely fashion with any issues - would happily recommend
