Motel/airport shuttle phone number switched off at 1am when we arrived on an international flight. Reception phone went unanswered. Got a taxi at our cost to the motel to find a 'back in 20 minutes' sign on the door...at 1.30am. Someone eventually turned up and told us the shuttle phone had been stolen and the clerk and gone to put fuel in the shuttle vehicle leaving the place unattended.

Cockroaches, room smelled like urine, no toilet roll holder, no hand towel holder, no milk, no face clothes, some windows had no curtains, window almost came off its frame when opened in a vain attempt to get rid of the urine smell. Filthy walls and roof, rot in the bathroom which I didn't dare wash myself in.

This is quite literally the worst motel I have ever stayed in both in terms of service, which was almost non-existent, and facilities.

I signed up to Trip Advisor just to write this review because I was so horrified. Luckily, I only stayed here for 6 hours for a connecting flight. I'll be trying to get some money back.

I needed a place for an overnight stay before a flight from Auckland Airport, and selected this place. It was a good price for my simple needs. It is clean and quiet; I slept well. The desk is open 24 hours which is good for late arrivals. There is a free shuttle to the airport which is very convenient.

Used for 6 hours after arriving airport midnight. Arrived reception approx 1am but had to wait half hour whilst reception staff returned from picking up other guests. Very old motel with matching uncomfortable beds past their use by date. Typical airport motels taking advantage of relative monopoly. Some long term guests very abusive and loud. However, despite all this, the room was very clean and linen spotless. Recommend for stays less than a few hours, otherwise if you can safely drive, recommend stay at much better options for the money.
