Terrible!

Previously I left a good review but after our experience I'll never stay here again. Management never let anybody know they were closed due to flooding. We arrived with other tired travelers at 9.30pm to find the place shut with no signs of life. No accommodation available anywhere else due to flooding so we had to sleep on the floor of the airport for the night. It was a miserable night and what they did is unforgiveable. It's been 2 weeks and still no communication from them at all. We could have easily made other arrangements before we got on the plane, which made us furious about the whole situation. BAD FORM!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, I do apologize for the circumstances surrounding your experience with us. Unfortunately after taking too much structural damage due to the floods, we were unable to contact guests as the building had been cordoned off for Health and Safety reasons. We sincerely apologize and after a year of renovations, we certainly hope to welcome you again in the near future and make it up to you.

We arrived from a flight at 9.30pm to find the motel closed with nobody around! Absolutely terrible service. All it would have taken was a text, email or phone call to let us know they’d been flooded and we could have stayed put. We walked to the Airport Gateway Motel up the road and even though they were fully booked they gave us complimentary beers to calm our nerves and the lovely young lass who worked there gave us a ride back to the airport in her own car when she finished work. What a legend. We had to sleep on the floor of the airport overnight as there was no accommodation available anywhere. It was an awful night and I’m so angry they didn’t let us know they had closed. Inexcusable. We will never stay there.

Booked for 26.1.23 however hotel booked 23rd - neither they or I picked the mistake till I tried to check in today - no calls from the hotel on 23rd asking where I was - had rooms available tonight but I had to pay another $170 even though I already paid $170 for a room that I never used on the 23rd - manager was rude and unreasonable - yep they made a mistake and booked wrong date and I made a mistake by not checking the booking date however they got $170 out of me for a room I never used - at no stage on the 23rd did they call or email me to ask where I was - poor customer service for sure - we all make mistakes but to stand and tell me that they have rooms avail tonight but I have to pay again is an insult -

All you need after a long day’s travelling. Quiet clean and relaxing. Staff couldn’t do enough to help, my room was super spacious and had good black out curtains witch was a must after travelling from the uk suffering with jet lag! Would recommend to anyone travelling to nz

Situated near the Auckland airport and the hotel provides free shuttle to the Auckland domestic and international airport. Value for money. We stayed a night here. The only minus point is the smell in the toilet but it’s not disturbing though and I m still giving this hotel a 4 stars given its location from the airport. Overall I would say we were all satisfied.

What an outdated dump mould and damp in the walls scruffy furniture poor value. In this day and age it isn’t hard to provide decent clean accommodation this is not the case here. At least the transfer too and from the airport works well
