I had a wonderful stay at the Novotel. The rooms are beautiful and the sheets and bed Devine to sleep in..
The best thrill for me was the rainfall shower with a view of the Emirates A380.. having a shower with that view of the international apron as a plane spotter was amazing.
I am a you tube streamer with Wellington Flights Live and did a static stream from my window which was fabulous..

A lovely, high quality hotel. Great Restaurant and bar area offering restaurant or bar meals. Our dinner was excellent and the bar service prompt. Apart from being a lovely high grade hotel, the big advantage with the Novotel is its situation, literally across the street from International Deparures. There are also airport baggage trolleys lined up across the street and often one at the Hotel, left by an arriving guest.

Without about the worst night sleep ever, in a bed that was really uncomfortable as the mattress springs were collapsed. This hotel really needs to invest in new beds.
Definitely not the place to stay the night before an international flight, if you are looking for a decent sleep.
Nothing wrong with the room but the lady checking us In was disinterested and dismissive. She didn’t seem to like her job and seemed inconvenienced when we approached here to check in. As we were walking to the life we overhead her college mutter “stfu” after she ended a call with a customer. Not the most warmest of welcome. We had a lot of bags and a 7 month old in tow so were struggling a bit. There was no offer of help with our bags. I know they’re not obligated but would have been nice if they offered. We saw the Pullman was across the road and regretted not booking there.

Another outstanding stay at the Novotel Auckland Airport, this time in Room 809 overlooking the airport runway. From a slick and welcoming checkin, to a service focussed restaurant to the room - best thing about the room was a walk in shower, previously we’ve had to use steps to climb into a bath to use the shower. Maybe OK in your twenties, but potentially an accident waiting to happen in your sixties.
The room was clean and well maintained - good water pressure in the shower. Also very quiet, with no banging doors or sounds from adjoining rooms.
Good to be allowed to take our bags to the room on an airport baggage trolley saving my back.
Housekeeping was great at providing plates, cutlery and extra tea bags, but why do hotels, not just the Novotel ration every room to four tea bags and six punnets of milk?
All in all a faultless stay with professional service.
