this place is filthy. we pulled up the bottom sheet on the queen bed in one of the "new" rooms because we could see something underneath it, what we saw was a horror show, a green slimy thing on the mattress protector. the rest of the mattress cover was yellow and was so grimy with body sweat it was stuck to the mattress. this cover has clearly NEVER been changed. the mattress was revolting, stained and yellow. we checked out the pillows....disgusting. there are overflowing ashtrays outside, rubbish floating about, sticky floors. nobody seems to care, the attitudes of the staff are generally 'couldn't care less'

Booked a two-bedroom unit for 4 adults .... The confirmation from Booking .com said 2 adults however sent a 4 of the guests name plus advising them that 2 of the adults required a transfer to the airport whilst the other two adults would check out at the normal time ... I even sent the motel an e-mail direct to ensure that all was in order ...
The amount charged was for 4 adults 2 roomed unit. That the time of checking in the reception desk said I only booked for 2 adults even though they had the 4 names, transfer detail etc .... I was told that I had to pay an extra 29 NZD x 2 . QUESTION why as paid for 4 adults and no extra bedding will be used ...ONLY to be told if I did not pay the extra amount, she was going to cancel my booking and no refund would be made due to a late booking ... Asked for the manager who pay up or leave ... Not even trying to contact Booking .com and or trying to talk about it .... HENCE not happy, SO RUDE...
Being in the travel industry for over 34 years I was at a lost at the service I was offered ... !!!! NEVER ever stay the again ....

Waited around for the receptionist for 15-20min to check in as she was doubling as the shuttle driver.
Standard room we stayed in was the most run-down, mould and cobwebs infested room I have ever encountered.
Walls had stain or abrasian marks and generally looked like all their cleaners bothered with was changing of the beds and some light dusting.
A note in the kitchen asked for guests to wash our own dishes... enough said!
Shower door dropped off its tracks completely when I attempted to open it, unsurprising, considering the mould buildup along the tracks.
No electric blankets.
No milk in the fridge.

Left our car in their care for two weeks, and on our return discovered several tears to the leather drivers seat. When we questioned the staff member on-site about this he denied possibility of staff responsibility and suggested tears were merely from general wear.
We contacted the manager via email and explained the damage, to which he replied rudely with barely a three line email stating "We did not damage your car".

This place is not a 4 star establishment (otherwise standards have disparingly slipped), and consumer beware that in my opinion photos and statements on this company's website are misleading concerning the level of service and care provided here.
