I was leaving the room to meet my shuttle (the shuttle I had to argue for as apparently 24 hours doesn’t mean 24 hours anymore) when I the cockroach I had in my filthy room ran into my bag. I met the shuttle therefore 1 minute after my booked time, by which time the driver was already verbally abusing my partner for my absence. I said sorry, I was dealing with a cockroach in your room, he yelled at me and was extremely rude, I put my bag in the back and got inside to get away from him (forgot my mask in the stress) he lost the plot then and screamed, I put my mask on instantly, but he’d already thrown all our bags out onto the street and then threw me out too. Never have I been treated so badly, I’m shocked and upset not only that I paid for this, had to deal with filth and cockroaches but mostly that I was verbally abused by staff and refused the (included and guaranteed shuttle) Never use this hotel. I booked it for the shuttle service but it turns out Uber is $13 to the airport with fast polite service. Should have booked a nicer and cheaper hotel with no shuttle and not put myself through this.
