Clean and tidy, simple motel, very close to airport. We arrived at about 1am after a delayed flight. Keys left in lock box and very easy to locate. Ample parking. Quiet. Very comfy beds. Kids loved the spa bath. Stayed 2 nights while exploring Auckland and would stay again
Lovely people who run this establishment. Clean and tidy. 10mins from the airport. Arrived back on a very late flight, keys were left in the lock boxes for you. A great place to stay when travelling overseas.
The main advantage was the complimentary airport transportation. I was very pleasantly surprised upon arrival, and would highly recommend this clean, convenient, and spacious hotel. Will definitely return.
I stayed in the room at the end - 338 I think. I checked in in the evening. The room looks tidy and neat. The bathroom looks fine, the AC works fine, though a bit noisy. When I pulled back the sheets there was blood (see pic) on the sheets (a possible sign of bedbugs). When I moved the kettle, two young cockroaches scurried across the counter. After that, needless to say, I DID NOT HAVE A RESTFUL NIGHT! The fridge smells and the baseboards (see pic) look terrible (all I could think about was cockroach waste at this point). When I moved a cup this morning, I saw a bigger cockroach and killed it (see pic).
The hotelier was really great and extremely helpful. The room was spacious and the bathroom was superb. The shower was excellent and very refreshing. The bed was really comfortable. The airport shuttle was a Godsend, even though it was only up until midnight.
