This motel is super clean, bed was really comfy, it's close to everything and great value. Our room had a spa bath and the soak was much appreciated after a busy day. The owner was friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend and great to support kiwi owned and operated.

Appreciated the helpful and friendly manager finding the most suitable room for our family as we walked in without a booking. Room was large, clean and good value for 2 nights stay. Will happily be back again and recommend to friends.
After travelling almost the length and breath of the Sth Island and staying in a few questionable hotels; it was an absolute delight to have stayed here.
We only stayed for an afternoon/night and rented a two bedroom unit. The rooms are clean and well provisioned with cooking facilities and utensils.
The laundry is open all the time and the machines are easy to use, $2.00 coins.
We booked our accomodation online and was greeted by Simon at reception. He is a font of knowledge and suggested a local pub for dinner ( Pioneer) and recommended Traditional Jade Co for NZ Jade.
We only stayed one night but were very impressed with the accommodation it was a large room and the bathroom had a great corner jacuzzi bath. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was a short walk to town and we had a great meal at Stumpers Bar and Restaurant.
Check in was easy with friendly reception. Location is several blocks from the town centre, but in a quiet location. Room was clean with a basic kitchenette. Variety of TV channels available, Overall reasonable value.

Check in and out were easy and our stay was problem free.
Plenty of parking outside each room.
The one bedroom family unit was large and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Only let downs was the room and furnishings were somewhat dated in comparison to other hotels we stayed at.
A little far from the Hokitika beachfront and dining precint (if you want to have a few drinks), about 20 minute walk (ok if not raining). Very short drive though if not indulging.
Highlight was Hokitika Gorge that is a 30 min drive away from the hotel (eachway).
