“Dark NIght Magic”
Review of Glow Worm Dell

Reviewed 21 August 2018

This place is magical, with the glow of the worm larvae as the ONLY light. IF you wish to to light your way with flashlights or cell phone lights, stay away. That ruins it for those who hold hands, walk slowly and touch a side wall or guide to stay in the dark until they reach the area where it ends. Whispers add to the effect and enhance the wonder of nature. I realize that some people feel the need for light to support their way, but they should skip it. Please.

We went around 6.30 pm nice and dark and plenary of glow worms. It’s free and short work. Easy access .

We were not aware of what a dell was and assumed it was a small cave. We did a quick drive by and stopped at the dell in the afternoon. There is nothing to see if it is not dark. We did see them in a forest later that day so I bet this is a little gem and a sight to behold.

Just off the road, you only need 10 mins. Short walk, couple of hundred metres

Don't shine your torch and talk loudly as most people were !!!

Quite cute and romantic when it's quiet - plenty of glow worms will be on show then.

Best I've seen in such an accessible spot.

It's free and has parking
