We had a very warm welcome at breakfast. Jan led uns to pur spacious room overlooking the seafront. The room is welk equipped nothing missing. Excellent wifi connection. Environmentally sustainable management of the estate. Breakfast was also very tasty. We also were given a map containing sights in our further route. We highly recommend this B&B.

We loved our stay at Breakers. A very special place. Jan is very welcoming and provides great tips on places to visit. Add to that tasty breakfasts and wonderful views. Set above a stunning beach overlooking the Tasman sea. One of the nicest places we have stayed in New Zealand. Visit Breakers, it's wonderful.

Breakers is a little piece of paradise. The views of the Tasman sea are unobstructed, and truly spectacular. The rooms are perfect, clean, beds very comfortable and all services top notch. I was planning on staying one night, and due to the kindness and hospitality of the owners, I ended up staying 3 nights. They provided me with many local recommendations, not only for the Greymouth area, but for the entire west coast drive and all of the South Island. Breakers was truly the highlite of my one month travels in NZ. Jan is an amazing hostess, as she is so warm and welcoming, a lovely person, a fantastic adventure guide, and great cook. The location couldn't be better- I walked for hours on the beach without having to drive anywhere. Oh, and did I mention the views!? I will return to New Zealand just to spend time with Jan and Steven, on the west coast, at Breakers! Love this place, and I am recommending it to all of my family and friends, not just as a stop over, but as the most lovely west coast destination.

Wow - can I leave it at that..... thank you so much Nikki. What a review - I feel very humbled by your extreme kind words. It was our pleasure to have you stay with us, we thoroughly enjoyed sharing Breakers and our knowledge with you and having the opportunity of taking you on some of our favourite walks and locations. The benefit of staying longer we can share more with our guests. Lovely to now have you as a friend - even if on the other side of the world. Until next time..... Warm regards Jan and Stephen

I stayed here for two nights over New Year and it was one of the highlights of my four weeks in New Zealand. The welcome from Jan was awesome, she cam to meet me as soon as I drove up and showed me to my beautiful room. The room was a delight, all the usual amenities, the most comfortable bed ever and an outside seating area. And then there was the view ... awesome! The location of this B&B is superb. The breakfasts were tasty as was the antipasto platter I enjoyed one evening. Jan is also incredibly knowledgeable about the whole of the West Coast and was able to recommend places for me to stop off on the way to Breakers and for the rest of my journey down the coast. The local walks she recommended to me were wonderful. I wish I could have stayed longer

This was our last night in NZ and what a send off. So far away from the masses. Our room had a spectular view of the sea. A rainy day so strong seas crashing down. And the other wide had a magificient contrasting view of the range and the forest on it. Away from the road. Very private. Very comfortable. Jan was a wonderful host. A must if you are near there. Wish we had another night!

Room Tip: The rooms on the second floor. Either are great.

Thanks David for your awesome review. So glad to be your last night in NZ and make it a special one for you - well us and Mother Nature, have to give credit where credit is due. I always say to our guests if you're going to have stormy weather what better than to be able to sit and watch it and you can certainly do that from our place. Glad you loved it as much as we do. Hope you do make it back sometime and have the opportunity to stay a little longer to soak up the views. Warm regard Jan
