I arrived with a trailer after a long trip from Dunedin. The host found a park for me and was very welcoming. The room was spacious and very clean. The motel is on the main road but very little if any noise. Plenty of hot water and a great pressure. Real nice to get two free bickie's on arrival.Have booked to stay again
Quiet and clean, warm and friendly. Have stayed here a few times for work and always fine, very clean, warm and tidy. Bedding is comfortable with good pillows. Although on the main road, it quietens down at night. Very close to the hospital and the supermarket and across the road from the swimming pool so very convenient.
Our room was clean and comfortable. There is a laundry onsite which was great. It is walking distance to the shops and a restaurant. We are a family of 3 and there was room for all of us. We loved the fact that there was a channel on tv with all the local attractions. We found out about the pancake rocks and blowhole from this. Absolutely brilliant. We were in a room at the back and it was very quiet.
The rooms were really clean and comfy with nice variety of cookwares. We really like how the toilet is separated from the bathing area. The location is also great, there is a supermarket 3 min walk away.
We had booked to stay in new year but a glitch meant motel has already sold the room. The owner arranged for us to stay near by in another motel... notified us as soon as it happened and told us if her solution . So impressed with her service and business ethics.
