Not a pleasant place to stay in any language.
I desperately needed a bed for the night, and this place had the vacancy sign out - now I know why.
The tariff they asked for was unreasonable, when I refused they asked me how much I wanted a room for, then we settled upon a lower rate.
Noisy, unclean and expensive. Needless to say I was out of there as soon as I awoke the next day !
A last-minute booking to stay here. On the plus side, we didn’t have any of the problems others have commented on. The room was clean and tidy, and so was the linen.
However, the whole place has a tired feel; everything is coming to the end of its life. It’s an old motel with thin walls - you can clearly hear the residents next door both talking and showering. The new owners have installed wifi (curiously lumpy, given there’s a huge router in the middle of the table) but far more is needed to keep this motel running. There’s a lack of customer service, and a peculiar problem with card payment; we ended up paying with cash. Nothing actually seems amiss, it just leaves you feeling uneasy.
I’d drive past unless you can’t find anywhere else.
We booked with booking.com my friend and I were travelling on a budget and our accomodation so far has been great however this was absolutely disgusting we wore thongs in the shower as we did not trust it due to the un tidiness in the room.
The bed head fell onto our head and the light also came off. Would not recommend staff were not very helpful and only came out to accept money and that was all. Preferred cash only after an argument
Very dodgy and gross hotel
We had a family stay which was our worst accommodation in 3 weeks of travelling around. It was dIrty, nil or very slow wi-fi, unfriendly staff, outdated decor & very over priced. Do your self a favour & stay elsewhere!!
Very poor condition maintenance wise, shower leaked through wall to toilet floor, dirty and very dated, fridge stunk, no free access to laundry. No wi -fi unless by office. Owner has poor english and is unhelpful. Was not priced as above and owner wanted considerably more, we had to negotiate then pay in cash! We were embarrassed to be Kiwis and showing this to international tourists is Bad.
