During the 90 minute ride, I was told off a lot throughout this which spoilt the fun a lot. As a female, riding with a friend, I was hoping to have fun. I have had experience with 4x4 previously however was told off when we got stuck (on one occasion) and the guide continued to brag about how he can drive the buggies and get around corners in one go etc which was highly unprofessional and unnecessary. At one stage he reached behind the seat and said 'do not look, you cant see anything' and flicked a switch of some sort. He continued to stop throughout the trip and come to a stop. A lot of it was stop and go. Unhappy with this trip and not worth the money.
Sorry, you didn't enjoy your trip, as it is very rare to have disappointed customers. So we take this very seriously.
Our job is that we try to provide the best fun possible, for every client that comes through our gates.
However, our clients need to respect the gear. If they don't then it makes it difficult to have a successful trip. As much as we want them to have fun, we don't want anyone getting hurt or any damage done. What made it more challenging is we had other riders on the same who are enjoying there tour but wasn't interested in riding hard and fast as you wanted to go. So the guide had to cater for both different riding groups at the same time. Because of the nature of our tracks mud and terrain and many obstacles. We drive to the group and conditions. Not sure about the switch you are talking about as there is no switch. Also, a bit of confusion regarding the guide driving the buggies and they only guide on the Quads. I think he may be talking about the tourist getting around one sharp corner in one go. Yes, I agreeyou should not be compare to other tourists who may get around in one go. I have spoken to him about that. We want you to have fun as much as we do without damaging vehicles that may occur through hard and fast riding.
I had never done this type of activity before and we had a great time. Felt just a little bit "on the edge" but entirely safe the entire time. Highly recommend!!
We had a wonderful mud tour with On Yer Bikes. It was great fun navigating the tracks and Sep was a wonderful guide. He was very kind and patient and never rushed us even though we were the last tour of the day. He was very clear in explaining when and how to change the gears. We highly recommend having some good “clean” fun with Sep and On Yer Bikes.
I recently had the pleasure of doing an adventure ride at On Your Bike. Mike is a great guide, very friendly, enthusiastic and careful of your safety. The setting is lovely, beside a main highway, but once you are on the trail, you have a sense of being out in the wilderness. The trail takes you through different terrain Knowing how to drive one of the bikes is an advantage, but you soon pick it up. I can't think when I have done anything more enjoyable. Its also good to do it with a bunch of other people, as you have great fun together. You definitely need the protective clothing, as you go through mud and bush on a long, winding trail, and you get muddy.... Loved it. . This is great fun and I highly recommend it.
Thank you for your amazing feedback! So glad you could come and have a fantastic experience with us. We hope you can come do it again in future!
We had an early morning session booked and the rain was torrential, but the team on site managed it fantastically and my fiancee and I had a brilliant time. The double buggy was great fun and you always felt safe and secure. The guide, Sep, was a really good laugh and made you feel really relaxed. Thanks all for a great morning, despite the weather!
Thanks for your great review! We're so glad you could have a great time in the rain with us. Hope to see you here again in future.
Rowan was an awesome and attentive guide. I have been on many quad tours around the world. This by far has been the funniest! The trails are different types of terrain which make it fun & challenging, but the mud & water are by far the best! And believe me there is plenty! I felt like a kid. I smiled & laughed the whole ride. I definitely recommend the 2 hour ride, anything else is too short! They supplies water proof jackets, pants & boots, I got nothing on my own clothes. They also stop midway and provide a light snack of cookies and choice of tea, coffee or hit chocolate. To me this is a must do.
