Nice clean spot easily accessible from the road. Entry into Motorpark was not well signposted but not the end of the world. Jacuzzi available and the bathroom was clean. Oven and kitchen were also fine. WiFi is good

Review of Greymouth KIWI Holiday Park & Motels

We arrived mid evening a bit disorganised, as we hadn't properly read the details of the cabin we'd booked, and assumed that bedding was provided because our next stop that was part of the same group did provide bedding.
When we realised our mistake, I went to try to hire bedding, however we were provided with it at no extra charge, even though it was our mistake.
That friendly service at the end of a long day on the road is what would have me staying there again.
I couldn't get the free wifi to work, however we were there to sleep, and go for a walk at the beach, and this we achieved to great satisfaction.
The two minute walk to the beach made for some pleasant exploring.
Bear in mind though that it's a substantial distance to the centre of Greymouth, so you probably won't want to walk that distance, and need to allow a few minutes even in the car.

For the price of the room (less than US$100 per night), this was one of the better Holiday Parks. Clean and comfortable accommodation, friendly service, some kitchen facilities and, for the one night stopover, certainly worth a mention.

On arrival the lady in reception was friendly and all round nice person! I was clearly in a bad mood and she gave me a lolly to put a smile on my face.... now I'm 22 but it still made me smile and was appreciated! Good showers, clean bathrooms (looked and smelled fresh) good sized kitchen and lounge area. Only thing about the kitchen was the lack of bin inside and cutlery but not major..... BBQ area. Plenty of seating and lots of parking spaces. As far as campsites go it was pretty! Grass and trees and nicely set out.... also has a spa but I didn't use that..... unlimited wifi that actually worked as well (very generous).... no complaints, will recommend and would return no question! Great staff and site! Thank you! 😊

Hi. Thanks for your feedback and letting us know that you found our place friendly, clean and comfortable - and you enjoyed your lollypop. We have a bin just outside the camp kitchen door (keeps odours away from inside the kitchen) and the lack of cutlery is due to having some people travelling on a very tight budget and acquiring things! We hope your travels are going well and would love to see you again sometime.

Campgrounds were clean and tidy, same with the kitchen and bathrooms. Service was friendly and they had unlimited free wifi. They also had a free spa but we didn't use it as it was too cold outside. Overall great place to stay as other parks in the area charge for showers etc.

Would have given a 3, it's an average motel, but it was so cold it was painful. There was a tiny heater which didn't even start to take the edge off the cold, and it's not even winter. Pluses are that it allows dogs in some rooms, has decent wifi, and was clean.

Hi. We are glad that you appreciated the clean dog friendly unit and our free unlimited WIFI. The unit that you were in has a heater in the lounge and also one in the bedroom (and electric blankets on all beds). When we entered your unit in the morning it was lovely and warm, hence the surprise in this comment. If you were so cold, you could have let us know at the time, so we could have addressed the issue then.
