We last stayed at this motel for one night in 2015 and always tend to try and stay at places we have been before if we like where we have been. The room was very clean and had everything we needed including a comprehensive kitchenette, free wifi and a good choice of Sky TV channels, and the ensuite included a large spa bath, The furnishings were basic, and the bed seemed quite old and was a bit soft but OK for one night , All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

We have recently stayed at Coleraine twice ( beginning & end of our West Coast Wilderness Cycle trail) & the owners could not have been more helpful & thoughtful .. we were able to leave our car there while cycling , they gave us a Unit with a divine Spa bath when we returned like drowned rats on our final cycle day .. highly recommended !

We stayed two nights here and enjoyed our time. Slightly out of town, but certainly not a disadvantage as Buccleugh’s on High restaurant, which has great food is directly opposite!

Hosts were fantastic, warm, friendly and helpful.

Would definitely stay again!

Would love to tell of our experience, however, we Paid for an Executive King Suite and got a motel room at the next door Motels!! On arrival early evening we were told our room had been water damaged so an alternative accommodation was arranged...at another Motel. Happy to comply we soon realised our nights stay was not be quite the same size, disappointed, as hubby was post op and on crutches!!
No further communication and little support when questioning the rate we paid in advance was more than the rate charged at the alternative motel ... Would have liked a call, text, email, anything... before our arrival.

We stayed one night as part of a holiday traveling around the deep south. The room was clean, tidy, spacious and had obviously been part of a refurbishment not too long ago.

Unfortunately the bed, which, for most people is the most fundamental part of a motel stay, was at least 30 years old with an innerspring mattress of the cheapest type on an inner sprung base. Not only this but the pillows had begun to disintegrate and emit dust. Consequently sleeping was difficult due the discomfort of this poor element of maintenance.

So often I have found this to be the case in motels where the most important part of the customers stay is exactly where the cheauebook slams shut.

On the positive side, the person in charge gave us a very good tip about where to go for dinner , which was just across the road, and It was a Hidden Gem. Gordon Ramsay standard!!!
