This is definitely worth a visit. New Zealand artists at their finest. Warning: impossible to get out without buying something. Keeping to one will be a challenge.

Have always loved visiting this gallery and find it excellent when I am looking for special gifts (or to treat myself!). Interesting special hand made crafts, especially love the glass. Could spend a long time here watching the glass makers create beautiful artworks.

Burning Issues is a treasure trove of beauty. Full of wonderful art pieces it specialises in blown glass from both local and national experts. The range is wonderful - and it is possible to pick up a piece for a reasonable price from the selection. As well as glass, there are many other art forms represented here. From jewellery to ceramics, paintings to prints; there is so much to choose from. A special feature of Burning Issues is the working glass blowing studio with a viewing platform so you can watch the fascinating process from a lump of molten glass to a finished product. Highly recommended.
