The cafe decor doesn't do the great food and coffee justice. Its one of my favorites for a coffee catchup with friends.

I thoroughly enjoyed the stop at Mr Pilkington's. The choice of food is very, very good and includes pies, sandwiches (all types), cakes and savouries. I was very impressed and had the mussel fritter which was delicious - you distinctly taste the mussel meat. I had a hot chocoate which was soooo delicious and my sister had a mocchachino which she said is the best. I like the spaciousness of Mr Pilkington's, the friendly staff, the aircon temperature was just right, there is plenty of parking and the choice of foodstuff and drinks is very varied, good quality and very fresh. Of all the coffee/cafe shops we have visited over the past 2 weeks, I would recommend Mr Pilkington's as being the best.

We have eaten here before, the food is always fresh, and appears to be home baked and with different variations than most places. The wedges with cheese were awesome, freshly made, great value and plentiful. The coffee is some of the best in town, not too strong, lovely and hot

Pilkingtons is a great cafe for a quick coffee when shopping at Okara. Their ham, tomato and egg club sandwiches are very tasty, though not quite as good now as they used to be under the previous owners. The cabinet food always looks fresh and they have quite a selection of menu dishes. The coffee is always hot. Even when they are very busy, most lunch times, they give good service. Sometimes it is hard to find a table, they are fairly shabby but because of nice food, cheap prices and good service you don't mind.

My girlfriend and I often come here as they do a lovely chicken salad The small one for $9 is very good value and ample for lunch I must admit that it is pointless going at 12noon as you can't move and is extremely noisy. But if you wait till a bit later then there will be a cleared table I must agree pricing in the cabinets would be a great help as their food prices aren't cheap for those items, maybe that is why they are not priced !!!!
