Popped in for a late lunch while driving through the area. The Narnia theme is evident - I did wonder why we entered through a narrow door lined by fur coats until the Narnia link clicked!
A warm welcome awaited and a decent Blat and coffee. Just what we needed.

The entrance from a dining area to the counter area is through a doorway that has been modified into a wardrobe (narnia style) food was ample and great and reasonable prices - nice for a brunch or lunch although we were doing breakfast and it was good

Stopped here for breakfast on our way south. Found it via the reviews and were not disappointed. Good coffee and good simple breakfast

We stopped off here on our way to see someone in Whangarei and just before we saw it my husband said he was hungry. We saw Cafe Narnia, turned the corner and stopped.
They had a great deal of choice, I got a creamed cheese like quiche I think, not too big but not small either. My husband had a chicken baguette which he said was fantastic, so tasty. We then first encountered a bowl of flat white. I got a medium one. The food was very tasty, served quite quickly and it was hot, thank goodness. I hate cold food.
We were having trouble with our mobiles and were trying to contact someone we had arraigned to meet, so the staff let us use their land line and it was sorted. The staff were very friendly, greeted us as soon as we went in, they were very chatty while we were trying to pick our food. We will go there again if we can on this holiday but we would definitely recommend it to everyone.

The food was excellent as were the choices.
