We were staying on a yacht in the Town Basin. Just meters away no less than 4 restaurants were offering breakfast. We had a Muesli starter and a 'small' cooked breakfast...sort of a half English Breakfast. It was spot on and the service was quick. There were a large number of LPG heaters within the restaurant (seems archaic nowadays) and parts of the restaurant are used as a thoroughfare to other activities within the building. Good tea and coffee and the staff were friendly. Might go back....?

Came for lunch had their spicy chicken in two or three taco shells. Too much Thai chilly sauce on the chicken, the tacos were almost inedible (doughy) and no dressing on the side salad!!Prime location adjacent to the sea, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of cabinet food, paninis, huge sausage rolls and nice looking cakes. Menu available but you need to order and pay at the counter; we won’t be rushing back!!

Best coffee ever both flat white and long black. Yummy baking by as well. Went twice within a week on our travels. Perfect view and water for the dog.

Coffee was okay. Found a hair in my very gluggy mushrooms on toast, thankfully I hadn't started eating. I was busy pushing the sludge around the plate considering whether I should eat it or not, when I saw the hair.

This cafe does things on the cheap. Mushrooms on toast is literally mushrooms and cream... this was like a packet sauce with minimal mushrooms. Plus hair.

Also it concerns me that the LPG heaters outside are within the plastic wind shields, and LPG heaters are dotted around the inside seated area. I imagine this is a pretty serious health and safety risk because ventilation is bad and also risk of burn, tipping etc.

Won't be back.

Large choice of food, from the cabinet, menu and board specials. We had a family lunch there.
The child hamburger looked a bit dry and the chips a little soggy, but they were enjoyed. The seafood chowder was good, but not the best tasted, the cabinet salmon quiche with salad was lovely and a good portion.
It was nice, but felt like the usual cafe style food.
The setting was lovely on the town basin even though construction was underway next door.
