My daughter and I stayed here for the night while attending a sporting event in Whangarei. Room was clean and had a well equipped kitchenette. Beds were surprisingly comfy. Decor was pretty dated but there was plenty of space. We went for a spa but actually didn’t enjoy it it was really smelly and it really did need a good clean. Not bad accommodation for the price.

This is just off the main interstate route, so handy for travelers. We had a friendly greeting and were directed to our chalet where we could park the car outside. While the room was big and had a sofa, big dining table and decent kitchenette, there was no hanging/ unpacking space. This would not be suitable as a base for several nights, but fine for travelling on. The view from the balcony was quite stunning in the morning. The main part of the town is about 20 minutes walk away. Laundry facilities are available.
Big room,clean and overlooking well manicured garden. Lovely in an evening to sit on the veranda. Handy walk into town. Good value. Great to have a kitchenette and especially the fridge as it was the middle of a heatwave
Pleasant enough owners, nice pool, convenient parking outside room. Close to city centre easy 3min drive. Otherwise room decor was very dated, 60s/70s throw back. Spacious tidy rooms unfortunately a couple of cockroaches in self contained kitchen. Stayed in room 23.
This place is very dated but the room we had was clean and had all we needed. We were in town for a family dinner so didn't use TV. As I was with a family member the room we had was ideal with 3 seperate bedrooms. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was very quiet.
Walking distance to convenience stores, gas station and liquor store plus much more.
Cost for the room we got I felt was good, I have paid same for a much smaller room just down the road which may be more modern but if all you need is a bed and a shower this is adequate and offers more space. Huge grounds also good for kids.
Does more need said? Not good, cockroaches through cupboards/rooms. No heating or Sky. Stay was supposed to be 3 nights, left after first. (Thought best not to add photos of infestation). Not value for money, would not recommend.
