Having eaten at this restaurant on a previous trip to Whanganui and enjoyed it we returned again to find it hadn’t changed. The selection of food is great. The service is good as is the ambiance of the restaurant. We have travelled in Japan and this food selection is similar especially the taste. We can highly recommend the eggplant, the spicy tofu, the sweet sweet potatoes and the macha ice cream . There is a good selection of sake. We ate here on two occasions on this visit to Whanganui and both food and service made for great evenings

We dined here for lunch on our way to New Plymouth. Sushi was great… service was terrible 😣 long waits, no table service, when we asked for soy sauce or wasabi they changed us for these items when our bill was $100????

We really appreciate this place. We came from Napier and we came in pretty late but the kind staff squeezed is in as the last order. Great atmosphere and very lovely staff. As for the meals ...oh my gosh so delicious and flavoursome. I ordered the chicken ramen and my partner had the karaage chicken set meal. We both walked away very satisfied with our dinner and have planned to return when we are in town next.
