The house is lovely and our room was very comfortable. Our hosts were very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delicious and we ate it on the balcony overlooking the sea. It is a short drive to Thames which has an interesting farmers' market on Saturday morning.

My girlfriend and I were looking for last minute accommodations near Thames, and though we called at close to 9PM, Peter had a room available and was more than happy to take us in. He was welcoming, warm, and generous (in spite of our last minute planning). In the morning he provided a great breakfast for us and the two other couples staying at the B&B on the deck outside. His entertaining conversation and the spectacular views along the coast made our morning; he also provided a paddle board for my partner to take out from the beach across the street. Peter's laid-back and welcoming attitude and the fantastic location made this a charming stay.

Beautiful bnb.
Large spacious room with all you need including access to fridge and washing machine. Hot tub available.
On coast road with stunning views of the sea about 10 minutes out of Thames. Fantastic hosts Janet and Peter make this special. Peter makes a fantastic breakfast which is enjoyed on the veranda overlooking the sea. Highly recommended.

Great Location easy drive from Auckland airport overlooking a lovely beach. Very friendly hosts who gave us good advice on places to visit. Breakfasts were wonderful with plenty of choice and our room was comfortable and provided us with all we needed.

Location: Is great. was less than 3 hour drive from Auckland airport which worked well for us as we had landed in the country the same afternoon. The B&B is right in front of the beach and it has a porch where one could sit and enjoy the scenery or go for a walk.

Room: and the bathroom were clean and spacious. The room had a private entrance and one could park the car right in front of it, so logistically it was very helpful..

Hosts: We really enjoyed staying at this B&B, Peter and Janet were soo friendly and gave us great advise on where to go and what to see. Peter also makes some awesome scrambled eggs. :)

Locality: The nearest town was Thames, which is a mins drive from the place. There are some decent restaurants in the area so one would always be entertained.

Would definitely go back here if looking for some quiet time with stunning surroundings.
