Rooms are basic, maybe a little dated, but they do the job, it may drive you daft if you were to be here for a long stay but for a bolt hole, it is fine. I arrived here really early and was let into my room, which was very helpful. Thames town has everything you could need, and is a short drive away. The unit I had was equipped with a hob, fridge and microwave, plus the usual. Overall for the price it is absolutely fine, I would use it again if necessary.

There were four of us staying overnight at Thames to collect a vehicle we had purchased and the two bedroom unit at the Rolleston was ideal for our stopover. The unit was part of the original motel and not one of the newer units. We had a very comfortable stay - two large bedrooms with clean, quality beds and linen, a good sized bathroom with good shower and a wee partly sheltered patio outside for a couple of us who enjoyed a cigarette. Perhaps the only thing that let the unit down was the fact that if you had boisterous youngins and you were using this unit as a family, the very small kitchen/dining/lounge combination but drive you to distraction! 8-) All in all a good stay and would definitely return again.

Stayed here for two nights with my partner. Nice good place to stay. Low price great hospitality. Not too far from central town. Supermarket and refreshment places nearby. Will come back for sure and recommend to others as well.

Very disappointed as it was flash outside but badly dated inside. Freezing cold with inadequate heating! One small fan heater and wall panel heater. Told to pull curtains to keep warmth in - what warmth? Only one Fox TV channel and NOT rugby wouldn't recommend very poor.

We had to make a quick stop over in Thames & chose this motel to stay in. We weren't disappointed. The room was very clean and well appointed. A little dated in a few ereas but modernised in lots of other ereas. I would return to this hotel again if ever in Thames again. The owners were very very friendly and very helpful. By car, the town was only couple minutes away. The towels were folded into beautiful shapes, which were a nice touch!!
