The Elm never disappoints on food, delicious as always. But today I was most impressed with the staff. I'd neglected to book a table and on a rainy Friday it seemed that everyone wanted to lunch here. Lots of reserved tables and a queue. Despite being busy, staff kindly informed me that there would likely be a table shortly (I was early to meet friends), they took my details and phoned me within 20 minutes, which was perfect timing. Thanks.

The kitchen staff are the same and food is excellent but the front of house / waitresses are different. Odd unexplained extras added to menu items = 15% extra on bill. Avoid until billing is more transparent....

Just been on a big bike ride on our e.bikes so needed to replenish the body. Latte and cake did the trick.

Lovely meal, just the right size for lunch, nice wine selection.
Service was OK we had to call the waitress over when we wanted to order coffee, they just left us alone and didn't check if we required anything else. Could have been more attentive.

Came here with some friends to celebrate and the food was delicious. The mushrooms and the eggs bene were Devine and cooked to perfection. Lovely staff and great environment
