We were in town for a night after a 60th at Dookie. What people forget about Italian food is that the genre has evolved over centuries so don't mess with the recipes, which Bicaro's does with aplomb. Keep it simple and cook it just right, which they do.
Great attention without overdoing it. Great chat to Sam about his winemaking.
Had his 2017 Shiraz, Lovely young wine with character starting to show. I will follow his winemaking with interest. Worth a visit if you are in town.
