All nice and clean and up to date complex. Friendly service and very nice breakfast with homemade bread on offer. Everything one needs is offered in the rooms and for dinner the Star Tavern next door offered great food and a very friendly atmosphere. Would be happy to stay at the Omau Settlers Lodge again if going that route

Great off the road location and close to all Westport sights and activities. Wild west coast and beach a few 100 m away. Great pub for meals at about 100m. Great room friendly and helpful owners. All in all a great place.

Great location if you want to do the Cape Foulwind walk. Perfect spot with the Star Tavern pub right next door - which also has good food and service- if you don't feel like cooking. Great hosts with a continental breakfast included. Rooms clean and comfortable although kitchenette is compact, there was enough equipment for us to prepare a meal.

We wanted a place from which we could take good walks and be out in the air, and this was just the ticket. Warm welcome from Lee and a comfortable room. We hadn’t realised - or hadn’t read - that Lee also laid on breakfast - homemade bread, and array of tea, coffee, conserves etc. Also great local advice. In colder weather I expect the bed could do with an electric blanket; and the bathroom door didn’t close properly - just needs a bit of planing to fix the edges. Ideally, too, the fan would turn on each time you turn on the bathroom light as it’s a noisy one. But altogether, a good place to have stopped for the night - and very handy to the Star Tavern, 3 minutes’ walk away - even if they’d run out of all the menu items recommended by 6.30pm.

Great hosts. Nothing's a bother. Great area; beautiful and plenty to do. Units are comfortable and there's a kitchen available if you want to do some simple cooking. Breakfast is provided and is healthy with good variety.
