My wife and I had booked 2 rooms at the Westport Motel/Hotel on the basis of the description on the website which, in part, boasted a restaurant and bar. We needed accomodation with a restaurant because my elderly father wanted to be able to eat on-site. When we arrived, I asked about the restaurant and bar and was told it was closed. We were offered a $20 reduction per night per room but even so, $125 for a very basic room with no kitchenette or even a microwave oven is rather too much.
The beds would have been more suited to a bouncy castle - they were that spongy!
In addition, the wi-fi was very unstable and kept on disconnecting. The 2 SKY TV channels had very poor reception and looked as though we were in a snowstorm. More
