We received a really friendly welcome on arrival.
Our cabin was fantastically spacious and well appointed with fridge, hot plate, microwave oven, cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery, breakfast items, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, comfortable sofa, large bed, shower room/toilet, plenty of towels and toiletries, nice seating area outside. The cabins are thoughtfully spaced for privacy and located away from the road so it was wonderfully quiet. The cabins are surrounded by pleasantly planted/landscaped garden areas.
A great location for Westport and Foulwind.
Cheryl and Bill were helpful and friendly and made us feel like valued guests.
I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone needing to stay in this area.

We only stayed for one night. Room was conforable, property was really lovel with great view of the ocean, breakfast was massive (maybe a bit too much!) and the host absolutely lovely. She made us feel at home. Good communication priori to arrival.

We stayed here for one night on our way down the west coast of the south island. We loved our little chalet and had a really comfortable night's sleep. The bathroom was slightly small but otherwise the chalet was spacious, with cooking facilities, a dining table & chairs, an extra bed for a third person, and a parking space directly outside the door. Despite being just off the main road, it was a quiet and peaceful place to spend a night. (Also it's just a short drive away from a seal colony which is well worth a visit.)

On our way down the west coast this was a very convenient place to stay while we visited Cape Foulwind, and the seal colony. Three little cabins, one for disabled, with all the basics for a cosy sleepover. Breakfast could be provided but we were self catering. Very friendly service.

Enjoyed a most pleasant one night stopover here during a trip northwards along the West Coast . The chalet accommodation was spotlessly clean , comfortable , quite spacious , private , and quiet despite its proximity to SH 6 . A good complimentary continental breakfast was provided by Cheryl , the charming owner . The room rate therefore was very reasonable . However , the en suite was really cramped , with the hand basin itself being very small . The ''Sunset'' is a good 10 K outside Westport township i ( which we knew and had planned for when we booked ) so a car is essential if staying there . Overall we rated it as very good value for money , and it was only the limited space in the en suite that prevented us awarding it 4 stars .
