We stayed in the cabin which was around 100 m from main building. It was OK but showed signs of reduced maintenance, e.g. very loose tap on kitchen sink. The main issue was the cabin was advertised as having internet but it didn't. We need internet as we had been out or range fro some days. We could get it outside half way to main building but this is not acceptable. It was also advertised as having a BBQ but it did not. Finally the place filled with mosquitoes after dark. Admittedly we had door open and lights on but there should have been a note to warn about this and some bug spray available. Would not stay here again.

We were delighted with our stay. Due to unforseen circumstances meant we got upgraded and the team made every effort to accommodate our needs as a group. Very attentative and friendly staff. Highly recommend for a quiet, relaxing stay.
Facilities were clean and functional at excellent rates.

Had to cancel a stay with them due to trying to return home early, the hotel refused to cancel my reservation.
"Per your request, we contacted the Fiordland National Park Lodge to attempt a cancelation on your reservation. Despite our efforts, the hotel has decided to enforce the current policy and is not willing to refund.
Top Offers is happy to work on your behalf, but we are also subject to the terms the hotels have established and cannot override their decision. We sincerely regret that their response was not more favorable."
Currently disputing with the credit card company.

We stayed on 21/3/2020 the night before our milford sound tour. The gentleman that checked us in said they were slow so they upgraded our room to a studio overlooking the garden. What a nice room, very roomy with cooking facilities and a spacious bathroom. We ate there that night and i had a lovely meal of lamb with a complimentary glass of beer. The same gentleman that checked us in also waited on us and checked us out the next day, sorry i did not get his name, but a great person. If you want quiet and rest i think this is the place. The tour bus for Milford sound picked us up right there and dropped us back off there.

This accommodation was a huge disappointment. One could ignore the lack of facilities in a worn-out room (only one chair or only one bedside table in a room for two) but if the bathroom is so small that you cannot even place a toothbrush in it then it is little bit of a problem. We could not get any help for the first night, some emergency solutions were found for the second. The bathroom photo at booking.com website was misleading, showing a completely different bathroom. Breakfast was so unprofessionally prepared that we decided to have the next day breakfast in a location 28km away (the lodge is at an isolated location and there is no shop/restaurant nearer).

Room tip: Avoid Queen Room with Garden View
