Highly recommend staying at the red tussock motel. Very comfortable two night stay for my family and I. We stayed in the deluxe king room. Everything was amazing. Really enjoyed our time in Te anau. Thanks.

Te Anau is an amazing place to stay and the Red Tussock Motel is in a great location. Welcoming hosts makes a difference to your stay and Paul was great. The room was amazingly spacious and modern. Huge bed and tastefully decorated. Highly recommend them for your next stay.

We booked for one night. I asked for a comfy bed and Paul advised the Delux Studio. It was very nicely laid out and very clean.
The bed was very comfy.
We recommend as very close to town and great value for money.

Lovely one bedroom unit. Was very spacious, lovely decor, tidy little kitchenette, very clean and great shower. There is also a spacious outdoor area with table and chairs. We stayed here 2 nights and went out to Milford Sound.

Our unit was a ground level mobility access unit having a wet room bathroom suitable for wheelchair access. The unit was one bedroom and with a single bed in the lounge area. Wheelchair users had ample access to all areas in the unit. The unit was away from the road, with the motel being situated just across the road from the lake shore. Good blackout curtains and very comfy beds ensured a great nights sleep. Everything was extremely clean and it was a pleasure to stay in this unit. A very helpful manager on the property who ensured we got the accommodation we were looking for. We would definitely stay at this property if travelling this way again. Thank you.

Fabulous room with a view of the lake and close to all amenities. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful and I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone heading to Te Anau. Spotless and great value for money.
