we have stayed here several times in various types of accomodation and it never fails. This is our go to place for a stay in Te Anau which is our favorite place in the south island. Staff are friendly, facilities are very good and it is really good value.

Arrived late on a frosty night to warm and cozy kitchen cabin. Found it a perfect place to relax and unwind before tackling the Milford Track next morning. Rates are competitive and facilities are modern. Lakeviews and quiet location are part of the deal. Thanks team for your hospitality
Loved the cabin facilities for cooking your own meals. The bathroom was also really big and the showers were beautiful and hot with strong pressure.
Too bad the wifi was terrible. Made it impossible to make forward plans for our onward journey. That’s why I’m taking a star off.

Clean toilets, well maintained room with clean linen and abundant parking space very next to my room. Few minutes walk from the town.

We used this as our base while walking the Milford track.
The first night we were in a 2 bedroom Parkview room. It was incredibly small, anymore than 2 people and you wouldn't be able to move freely. Mattresses were awful and ended up sleeping in a bed each as we were basically rolled on top of each other. Very overpriced for what it was.
We were able to leave our vehicle there inbetween stays which was a huge bonus and loved that that was an option.
On our second stay we were in a queen studio room, it was spacious but tired. The shower floor was spongy and part way through my shower a screw poked through the lino under foot. The window had black mould on it and the flooring around the shower was pretty dirty.
The mattress was just the same poor condition as the first stay but with no escape. I contacted reception via email as it was outside of office hours just as an FYI and heard nothing in response. Such a shame it's in such a run down state as the pricing makes you believe it will be otherwise. Never staying again.
