We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment which is a house next to the motel. We love the place. Spacious Kitchen and living room. The house had two bathrooms and a washer and dryer. Everything was well-equipped. We really relax and enjoyed ourselves in this accommodation. The best accommodation during our trip! The beach is 5 mins walk. Jill and Craig were very helpful to help us find our misplaced box (which is our fault). We will definitely stay there again when we return to Te Anau,

We stayed in January on our way back from Milford sound, which I can highly recommend if you are doing a afternoon cruise, as Te Anau is still a couple of hours drive.

The asure was run by a very friendly family, the rooms were huge and beds comfortable.

We were travelling with a 6 month old baby also. The asure had cots available and bedding for the infant.

Very happy and would stay again

Very helpful, thorough hosts. They know a lot about the area and what sites/hikes to see (do). Room was big, clean and well equipped. The hosts go out of their way to make sure people enjoy Fiordland. Ideal location for Doubtful and Milford sound exploration. Hosts help with bookings too.

Wow, did we luck out! Te Anau was solidly booked for our mid Nov time frame, but when Craig learned we needed 5 nights he gave us room 12. Room 12 was the HOUSE next door! What a delightful surprise! We closed the doors to two of the 3 bedrooms and 2 of the baths. What a luxury to have a full kitchen, a large dining room, an airy living room and plenty of room to move about in the bedroom! The bathroom was large and plentifully supplied. The best part: washer and dryer in the kitchen! We had an outdoor porch with furniture and off street parking. This motel is nestled in a neighborhood, as are many other motels in Te Anau. We enjoyed the blooming flowers when we took walks in the neighborhood. The gals who resupplied our dwelling were most helpful with recommendations for restaurants and services in downtown Te Anau that was a short walk away via the short cut path. One gal even cleaned the bottom of the iron for me. Wifi was good and the kitchen and its dishes and pots and pans were clean. Reception on the TV was fine, but we did not watch much TV, too many sites to see. The decent sized shower stall with plenty of hot water was what we needed after a long day of hiking or boating. This dwelling was the best "room" we stayed in on our whole trip! Many thanks to Jill and Craig!

My parents and I stayed here for one night. We were given an end room with window..hence very well lit. Good service. Good basic facilities. Great to have a tv in lounge and bedroom. Comfortable beds. Also love the blue fairy lights.
