I did two tours with Ang, firstly Kiwi viewing up on the airstrip where we saw 3 kiwi and then the next day I did a 3hr guided walk on Ulva Island where we saw all the special birds I wanted to see. Ulva Island is a magical place. The forest has not been impacted by humans, other than the Posrmaster Garden and the paths. This is what the forest looked like before any humans arrived. Ang shared a lot of history and local information while quitely finding the birds and describing the habitat and the process to rid the island of rats and the reintroduction of the special NZ birds. Absolutely recommend Ang and Beaks and Feathers.
