Ange is the best Kiwi-spotting guide you are going to get on Stewart Island. she is knowledgeable, delightful and will look after you like a long time friend. My wife needs a walking stick for mobility and we had our 9 yr old son, and none of the other Kiwi Tours on Stewart Island were willing to work with that. Angela was fantastic and we saw 1 male and a juvenile kiwi. She even got the rain to hold off for us!!!

We had wonderful time with Angela. We saw 4 kiwis in only 2 hours. One juvenile even almost touched me feet! The day walk on Ulva island was amazing as well. We learnt tons of interesting facts about birds, plants and life in Stewart and Ulva islands. We also saw and heared a lot of birds. We would never identify them without her. Thank you!

Sympathetic, friendly and well-organised evening kiwi encounter, seeing birds doing their natural thing close up - it was amazing! Ange runs small groups - 6 max - and is genuinely motivated more by the fun of sharing her joy of indigenous birds than by turning a quick buck. Thoroughly recommended - she’ll restore your faith in human nature!

Ange runs small tours at Ulva Island, a bird watching paradise. Her knowledge of the bird life is incredible and she takes the track real slow so you can see all the best birds and plants. We did our research and can confidently say she runs the best bird watching tours to Ulva Island. You get a full three or more hours with her and it's super personalised. Plus she's been involved in predator eradication and bird protection for decades so has lots of great knowledge to share. Down to earth, amazing bird watching and a lovely woman.

We went on two tours with Angela(Port William and Acker's Point at Dusk) and we thoroughly enjoyed both of them. It is clear that she loves her island home and has a passion for sharing the extraordinary flora and fauna with others. She even provided morning tea with yummy snacks and tea in pyramid tea bags at Maori Beach on our Port William walk. We were delighted to see Sooty Shearwaters and Fairy Penguins at Acker's Point. Great job and keep up the good work. Anyone considering this company, rest assured you will be in good hands.
