We went on two tours with Angela(Port William and Acker's Point at Dusk) and we thoroughly enjoyed both of them. It is clear that she loves her island home and has a passion for sharing the extraordinary flora and fauna with others. She even provided morning tea with yummy snacks and tea in pyramid tea bags at Maori Beach on our Port William walk. We were delighted to see Sooty Shearwaters and Fairy Penguins at Acker's Point. Great job and keep up the good work. Anyone considering this company, rest assured you will be in good hands.

Angela is a wonderful resource for a visit to Ulva Island. Take the early ferry with her and you may be lucky, as we were on Christmas Day, to have the Island to ourselves.
She knows every bird and tree on that Island and is patient with those trying to get to know the names of so many, beautiful and unfamiliar plants. We loved it all -even in the rain!

We were fortunate to tour Ulva Island with Ange, a most knowledgeable guide with years of hands-on experience. She will find and will point out many of the threatened birds and other animals while providing a fascinating history of how Ulva Island came to be. We even encountered a sea lion on the beach. Thanks Ange!

Ange provides excellent guided walks in small groups. She spots the birds, and knows the history and plants as well as the birds.

I'm so glad we chose Ange to guide us around Ulva Island. If we had walked around by ourselves, we would've missed so much! Ange's career in various aspects of conservation makes her a perfect guide and teacher. Her stories are fascinating! We spent around three hours walking at an easy pace spotting a variety of birds and learning about the range of plants seen on the island.
Ange's kiwi spotting tips were spot on. The night after the tour we saw three kiwi exactly where Ange told us they would be. Local knowledge at its best!
