Came here for the beer. Really enjoyed both craft and bottled beer. Food was decent, their award-winning burger very good.

We stopped in for a few pints as well as nachos and were happy with both. They have many beers on tap - feel free to ask the guys behind the bar about the different styles or tastes.....they know their beer!!
Really nice setting above the street with seating both inside and out.

Returned to queenstown for work and a bit of R and R.
Poped in to Smiths to sample a beersie or 2 .
Found out they have added another 16 taps to their extensive range making a total of 36 beers on tap.
Food was up to its usual high standards.

My boyfriend and I decided to check out this place because a local told us this was a great place for craft beer. They had a lot of beers that we didn't see in other bars throughout New Zealand. For me, the food was the best part. I had the fries with pulled pork and was stuffed. Great atmosphere and friendly bar staff.

Expensive poor quality beers. Terrible hygiene levels and lack of cleanliness. Slow service. Awful location. Noisy air conditioner unit on roof terrace that made conversation impossible.
