This was a good choice for our group. Not ultra-luxury, but very comfortable, well maintained, about 7 minutes walk from "downtown". We actually took a 2 bedroom apartment in the hotel with our friends, which worked out great -- 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen. Very friendly service, cocktail hour every night.

Recently stayed for 2 nights at the Park Boutique Hotel and it was the best hotel I've stayed at in the South Island of New Zealand. The location is perfect - it's situated right next to a large park and also a 2 minute walk right into the main part of Queenstown. Everything is what you would expect from a 5 star hotel, beautiful rooms, great service, attention to detail etc.

Looking forward to returning next summer!

Had 2 very enjoyable stays before and after doing Milford & Routeburn with Ultimate Hikes. Hotel is well-located, away from crowds/traffic but only a few minutes walk to downtown. Beautiful view of the Remarkables in distance. Pleasantly intimate with friendly and service-oriented staff. Listen well to your room briefing as high tech light and blinds switches might otherwise be challenging to figure out. In-house chef (breakfast only, plus lovely complimentary evening canapes served with regional wines) is top-notch. Try the extraordinary pancakes. Not the traditional heavy fare but exquisite, delicate small bites with yummy side fruit and syrups.

This hotel is amazing, very central 5 min walk to the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
The staff were all incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Personalised welcome by the reception, and a quirky area with a fire where they served canapés and wine in the evening, once again the staff very chatty and helpful (the canapés were delicious too)
Room was great- all the amenities you would need. It is a small hotel but adds to the overall experience.
Breakfast was excellent- cooked to order.
We would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: All the rooms luxurious- we had the gondola view

For the first time in a long time a hotel has met and exceeded expectations and was actually better than the impression I got from the website. Staff were fantastic. Room very well appointed. Location fantastic. Breakfast cooked on demand and well above expectation.
