Spouse and I recently enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Park Boutique hotel. We try to utilize boutique hotels when possible and booked based on TA reviews. We were very pleased with our choice!

Pros: Charming little lobby and friendly staff. Due to our schedule, we only got to enjoy the happy hour and canapés once but found this to be a nice extra. We received a small "welcome gift" honoring our anniversary.
Rooms are spacious with tasteful, modern alpine decor. The natural lighting during the day adds to the ambiance. I appreciated the use of the towel warmer. The layout is helpful for multiple occupancy, however only one sink had outlets available.
Rooms have a digital clock with multiple brightness settings! I know this seems like such a small thing, but after years of experiencing jet lag, this is such an important feature that allows you to just peep and eye open when you inevitably wake up at all hours of the night. (I'm disappointed when hotels do not have this, which is surprisingly frequent)
The location is easy walking distance to the main shops/restaurants in town. We caught a local rugby match in the adjacent field one afternoon.

Cons: I felt breakfast was a little pricey given what was on offer. (I would note that there are tons of breakfast places that open very early nearby). No complimentary bottled water provided.

After seeing other hotel options around, I felt like the Park Boutique is the stand out winner and would definitely recommend this place to visitors to Queenstown.

Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel is the perfect place to relax & unwind! The room we stayed in had a lovely view & great window seat to take it all in. The bed was comfortable. I loved the shower with the window to see the stars at night & the sky during the day. The location is perfect to walk into town. A brilliant spot to really unwind & have a break!

Located slightly outside of the hustle bustle of downtown, but close enough to easily walk in, this property is a great choice. Rooms are big, good design, playful, staff is helpful and enjoy interacting during the nightly wine social (6p-7p). With free wifi and underground free parking, as added pluses, makes booking here an easy choice.

Room Tip: Seems like all the rooms are good, preference for upstairs or downstairs?

We had a fantastic 5-night stay in March 2017. The room had a great view and was sheer luxury - in terms of comfort, design and furnishings. The location is also great - a few minutes from both the gondola and the town centre.
The staff could not be better- many thanks to Karen and her team for being first-class hosts.
Each evening there is a hosted drinks and canapé hour - which was excellent. During that time, the team took the time to assist with restaurant reservations.
Overall, it is impossible to fault the hotel and we look forward to staying again when next visiting NZ.

This hotel could not have been more accommodating for a family of 5 adults. They gave us (unasked) adjoining rooms and the extra touches (infused water in lobby, happy hour, very helpful front desk) were fabulous. They even booked us paragliding tickets on short notice! Loved this spot and highly recommend.
