Lovely motel just out of the main centre; but it only takes 5-10mins walking down to the waterfront.
Parking underneath the motel was a big drawcard for me and it delivered.
The rooms are well appointed and have a nice view looking out over the lake. The bed was very comfy and the tv was nice too.
Check-in and check-out was a breeze and the staff were very friendly.
I would recommend staying here and I’ll happily go back again.

We have stayed here before a few years back and liked the ease of parking underneath the complex and a clean room. We revisited and it is still a perfect place to stay with every convenience at your fingertips. We like walking and the motel is so close to town it is a pleasure to be a pedestrian rather than try to find parking. Most importantly, the staff are very friendly and most helpful. This motel is a rare find.

Firstly -- apologies to management for taking so long to write this review. This motel was spotlessly clean and fully equipped. Beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds. The views from both sides of the building are spectacular, because of the elevated position. The cat at reception was very helpful, but had to rely on the owners to answer our questions. This place is tops, and was an accommodation highlight of our trip. Meoow.
First trip out of Auckland since Covid struck New Zealand and am just returned from a four night stay at the Alexis. Large, beautifully decorated rooms with comfy beds, handy kitchenettes, and great views. The property has lovely gardens and large common patio areas where you can sit outside and enjoy expansive views. Very friendly owners/management, and an easy walk into the heart of Queenstown. Would happily recommend.
My husband and I spent 4 months at the Alexis, due to lockdown. I can’t say enough about how wonderful all the staff were. Everyone went above and beyond to help us.
The views are magnificent and it was so easy to walk to town. The cleaning staff do an amazing job.

Excellent views and closeness to town. Would have scored 5 stars had it not been for the rudeness of the receptionist, not only at check-in but also at check-out. Does she not realise she is the shop window for the property. Probably wouldn't stay again because of this.
