We stayed in this hotel for three nights. We were very warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived and were very glad not only for the upgrade to a beautiful and spacious prestige room but also that we could have access to our room immediately. After two and a half days travel to get there this was so much appreciated.
The location of this hotel is excellent for exploring the town with easy access to shops, restaurants, the Gondola, Queenstown Park and all the water-based activities along the lake front.
Breakfast was a feast indeed with a lovely selection of fresh fruit, juices, breads and pastries as well as a choice of hot food both from the buffet and to order. Their apple juice porridge was superb and certainly kept you filled until lunch and beyond!
We ate twice in the French restaurant in the evening and loved the decor, the food and the service provided by a lovely French girl and her assistants. The Jazz Bar was fun and served great cocktails. Unfortunately we missed the live music as there was none on the nights we were staying.
Facilities in the room were outstanding and we loved the little gifts that awaited us after a hard day's sightseeing. The handbasin, however, is a little small and with the water tap flow not easy to control there was often a lot of water spilt around the sink. The views from our room were fabulous - we could see in three different directions from the many large windows on this corner site.
There is a gym, but the range of lighter weights was a little disappointing - not set up for older ladies who like to keep themselves toned.
We would definitely recommend this hotel for its accessibility and excellent service in particular.

Room tip: Corner Prestige Suites have excellent views, though may be noisy in peak season as they overlook bars and nightclubs.

“We loved this hotel! We had a lovely room with seating area and a small balcony to stand out and admire the amazing sunset over the town. After 37 hours of travelling we really enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi bath and watching the bathroom TV with a nice glass of wine. The bed was large and comfortable, the AC worked and the curtains shut all the light out. The breakfast was superb as was the evening meal from the restaurant. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed it and would stay here again without hesitation if we visit again.”

From the moment we arrived, we were made feel welcome and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Hotel is centrally located and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was great and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included in our deal, and was fabulous. Will certainly return. Thanks to all
