I last rated Platinum Villas is 2017 and my review has not changed!

My 2017 review below;

“Well appointed, great location and warm!!!

The family stayed here for the weekend in a 3 bedroom alpine view villa. Very comfortable. The gas fire was a highlight!

The garage is a bit tight for a big SUV and the TV channels were fairly limited for premium accomodation.”

The only 2022 niggle is the inability to connect a device to the entertainment system for a family movie! Something similar to 2017 :-)

We stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate a birthday and Wedd Ann. It couldn't of been more perfect for both occassions.
It was great to have the microwave and oven to cook with and all the equipment needed, plus a full size fridge/freezer. Why go out when we had the perfect venue with gas fire and fabulous views from our villa looking over lake Wakatipu and not have to go out and find a car park and wait in line to be seated at a restaurant.
The sunrises were amazing from our upstairs private bedroom and bathroom. We chose the 2 bdrm option with the 3rd bdrm locked off, but still had 2 full bathrooms, at a reduced rate.
The only thing we found a bit annoying was having no downstairs toilet and having to go upstairs all the time when nature called. A small price to pay.
We have stayed else where in Queenstown over the years, but this will be our forever rental when coming to Queenstown from now on.
The Heritage hotel is just across the road and is not expensive to dine at with 2 course meal deals
Get a villa with lake view, you won't be dissapointed.

Room tip: Get a villa with Lake views

Booked lake view villa for a couple of nights.
The villa is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures and are spacious and in perfect condition.
The views to the lake are stunning.
We have been to Queenstown a few times and stayed at a number of places but this surpasses them all.
We arranged a grocery delivery before we arrived so the villa was stocked with essentials like potato crops, wine etc.
We will be back, highly impressed.

Room tip: Book a lake view

We rented this villa for six days back in May 2021. I walked in, and said, "I never want to leave." The apartment is impeccable, perfectly laid out with everything we needed, comfortable and sophisticated, and the views are simply extraordinary, as the many photos here from other travellers attest. We asked for the two-bedroom option, which just meant that the third bedroom was locked. As we had been travelling for over a week already, we appreciated the laundry facilities.

It is within walking distance of the town (though it is quite a hike back up the hill), and there is a bus service to the Heritage Hotel over the road. Though when the temperatures plummeted, we tended to drive.

It was very reasonably priced for Queenstown between school holidays and before the ski season started.

We will definitely return.

Room tip: It's worth paying for the villas with a 180 degree lake view.

Having thoroughly enjoyed our stay in 2018, we made a v-line back to the Villas when in Queenstown recently. Nothing had changed: quiet, comfortable, beautifully appointed villas with a wonderful view. We'll be back !

Room tip: Do try and secure a Villa with a Lake View (although any of them will impress).
