If you have time, scout around for prices as they vary quite a lot from store to store. Generally though, this store have most souvenirs at the same prices at others but some at least 20-30% cheaper.

Thos store has very competitive prices. You have look around to find cheaper in some stuff, but they have great offers in general. I found very good jackets at the time of my visit.

They had lots of nice things made in New Zealand. Beautiful selection, helpful staff, affordable prices. Found gorgeous warm gloves for me ( and a hat) AND then for my toddler too.

I have visited the DF shop 4 times on 3 visits to NZ. They have the best selection of most items and the best prices that I found anywhere that I shopped, including dollar stores! This is a must in Queenstown or when driving thru. You won't find a better selection of mud products at a low price. We are planning a return trip to NZ and stopping here is a must on our list. Look for coupons in brouchures for NZ, sometimes you can get a free tshirt or discount. Airport selections are minimal and expensive.
