We went here for tea for our combined birthdays. The food was absolutely delicious especially the shared lamb - melt in your mouth. The service was excellent and friendly. It was a very down to earth experience. Definitely come back again.

Fantastic,divine experience the food is out of this world the flavours and presentation of every dish was at a really high standard and it’s affordable also.The staff are brilliant and have a really professional manner and are also down to earth.

Vegan Friendly. Rata has a seperate vegan menu the staff were helpful and friendly and the food superb. Will definitely eat here again.

Exceptional evening start to finish. Friendly and attentive service when needed. Music and lighting just right. Food was everything we hoped for. Shared goats cheese profiteroles bite, followed up with Bluff octopus, full of flavour and texture and perfect amount of bite. Our mains were the lamb and beef and both dishes were cooked to perfection with tasty accompaniments followed by desserts that were delicious. We both agreed that Rātā was the perfect dining experience during our stay in Queenstown.

The food & service was excellent and the bathrooms were very clean, was a great dining experience , will be back.
