Wow - where do you start??? Second time I’ve been to Rata, both brilliant - Last Friday was no exception! Clams, oysters, oh my gosh - that beef Wellington (Devine!!!), and thank the lord you still have those cinnamon oysters 😍. Let’s not forget the amazing staff - attentive, professional and friendly. My only regret about dining at Rata is going here on the first of my 4 nights. After having the Rata experience night one meant that all of my following meals were second rate by comparison. The venue, the staff, the food, the drinks- all amazing.
Just go. Go twice if you can.

My daughter and me enjoyed very much for the dinner . Amazing and delicious food ! Staff are friendly and helpful.
Must try the Winter Bread, Clams and Wellingtons Beef .
Price is reasonable for this high quality restaurant! Definitely recommend to all my friends and family .

The attention to detail with the food, the tastes and service are all out of the top drawer. Couldn't fault it. In Queenstown where the wait staff are probably transient(in the nicest possible way) it is evident the owners/management make a big effort to train their staff to deal with diners in a knowledgeable way and this shows through in the way they treat the customers.

Rata was a wonderful dining experience! The cheese roll nearly changed my life, and the gnocchi with my venison was so good I had to ask for the recipe! We loved the firecracker mezcal cocktail and really enjoyed the 5 star service we experienced here. My husband and I came on our honeymoon via recommendation from our lodge and could not have been happier!
