We loved the boat ride. The horse trek was so much fun. Our horses were gentle and cooperative for beginners. The tea was delicious wit cakes and scones. I would highly recommend.

My partner and I took the Doubtful Sound excursion a week ago. We were unable to book the overnight because it was fully booked. We were picked up right at our own bus stop on Frankton Road outside of Queenstown. This was most convenient. The day consisted of a two-hour bus ride to Te Anau and then a quick transfer to Manapouri. From there, we took a boat to Fiordland National Park and from there a bus across spectacular wilderness to another boat our on Doubtful Sound. There, we saw albatross and seals and went all the way to the Tasman Sea.

A true highlight of the journey was Nathan, our bus driver on the two-hour trip from Queenstown to Te Anau and then back at the end of our day. Nathan is fabulous! Extremely knowledgeable about New Zealand history and local lore. Made our bus ride fun and very interesting.

Thanks to all the wonderful staff who made our day very special.

We took our UK besties on the Earnslaw over to Walter Peak Station for a gourmet barbecue lunch. The day was superb, the Earnslaw worked its magic, service from Real NZ from start to finish superb! The Homestead at Walter Peak was bathed in sunshine. Wait staff welcome us... a nice touch. The gourmet barbecue lunch is one of the best we've had. Our friends didn't want to leave. The day was so beatufiul we sat outside in the sunshine until our return to Queenstown. 10 Stars!

Wonderful meal at beautiful Walter Peak Station. Totally blown away by how good it was. Better than any restaurant meal we had in Queenstown. The steamer trip was great, the farm show similarly was really good…but the meal and service at the bbq dinner was another level….run like a well oiled machine and just wonderful high quality food. A highlight of our visit…
