Spent a pleasant 90 minutes aboard the TSS Earnslaw cruising from Queenstown to Walter Peak Farm and back. It was very interesting and informative with a running commentary from the captain and a small section at the front of the boat containing old pictures and facts about the steamship. The bar was well stocked and had plenty of food options available for purchase.

Do not miss this trip. A beautiful steam ship taking you to Walter Peak station for a sheep dog and shearing demonstration and a superb bbq lunch.
I loved going into the engine room of the ship to watch the steam engines at full power and the stokers shovelling coal not the 4 furnaces.
The views are breathtaking.

Wonderful way to spend a few hours with a toddler. Boat trip was calm and enjoyable. Food and drinks are available on board and also purchased a lovely kids book based on the boat. The farm was very interesting, watching sheep shearing and dogs rounding them up. Fabulous afternoon tea with plenty of tasty food. Feeding the sheep was fun. Very professionally managed. Highly recommend and great value for money. Scenery is stunning!
