Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. Really central to the water, restaurants and tours pick up from the hotel. There are many big hotels here but if your a member it’s worth it.

Location, location, location! Stayed three nights in Queenstown during our kids summer break. Was a perfect time to visit as the fall season was wrapping up there. What a beautiful town! The hotel was wonderful and we were highly satisfied. Our room was upgraded to a beautiful lake view and our family enjoyed sitting out on the deck enjoying the picturesque little town. The staff were kind and friendly as well.. Also appreciated the self service laundry on site! Must have especially with kids in tow. As mentioned above, location is everything and this hotel hit the mark. Everything was within walking distance! Got to pick up the famous Fergburger take away and enjoy it on the deck with the amazing lake and mountain views. Definitely one of my favorite places to visit. Will not hesitate to book again with Crowne Plaza on our next visit to Queenstown.

Very comfortable accommodation in a great location. You can walk to everything in town and view is amazing. Bus stop at door. Fabulous valet parking service, including free EV charge. Delicious hot and cold buffet breakfast available in hotel restaurant. 2 course dinner special on while we stayed there and food was amazing - steak cooked to perfection and good selection of meals. Highly recommended.

For 370 per night, they couldn't even provide bottled water which is very poor especially during the water contamination crisis (making tap water not drinkable and the advice is to boil the water for 5 mins). Upon asking for bottled water, we were given a filled glass water tumbler but we weren't sure if this was filtered or boiled water, and would rather not risk it. When I asked the front desk, they simply said I can get bottled water from the convenience store, but when asked why can't they provide it, he said they have ordered it but they had difficulties getting it (they couldn't get it from the convenience store?)
The second day we left our room at 9.30am and put the housekeeping sign out, we got back at 4pm and the room was still not cleaned.
Other than the location and views, I wouldn't recommend this place to someone for the price they charge.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback.
We apologise for not hitting the mark in terms of the reaction to the boil water notice that was issued for Queenstown. Our crisis team came together as quickly and provided alternatives to bottled water through glass bottles we had available. We did have a slight delay in securing stock of plastic bottled water due to huge demand but pleased to report these have now been received and available to all guests. Glass bottles also available if guests would like to boil additional water for consumption.

Currently staying here with large tour group and have so far experienced unhelpful inappropriate behaviour towards tour coach groups not allowing forcoutt parking.
Behaviour in front of overseas passengers not helpful.
Should have instead managed the situation to get a win win instead of the guide and driver helping forcourt parking

Had a delightful 5-nights stay with mountain and lake view at this wonderful property. Its strategic location is hard to beat, close proximity to everything. Wharf where TSS Earnslaw steamship cruise embarks is just across the road. Skyline is within walking distance from the hotel too. Public bus going to and fro Queenstown Airport stops right in front of the hotel is a huge advantage.
Room was clean and of good size. Bathroom was however a bit small. Personally I don’t fancy shower over bathtub, as it was a hazard to climb in and out of the wet and slippery bathtub, would definitely prefer a standalone shower cubicle. There was coin operated guest laundry available which was a huge plus point. Buffet breakfast was simple and the varieties were the same throughout our 5 mornings, would appreciate if there was variation on odd and even days.
Would like to commend Farah, the front office associate, for going an extra mile to fulfilling our request for a higher floor room. Though we didn’t manage to get it on our first night, she made it happen on our subsequent 4 nights which was wonderful. Complimentary bottle of red wine already placed in the room upon check-in was a pleasant surprise too. Definitely would stay at this lovely property again when visiting Queenstown.
