We loved our stay at the Heritage! We chose the Heritage to stay in Queenstown over Christmas, and we were not disappointed. We opted for a Lakeview room, and the views were amazing, complete with a little balcony overlooking the beautiful lake - it was worth the money. The rooms are very spacious, clean, very comfortable, and quiet as well. We had special 4 course Christmas dinner at the hotel restaurant (MacKenzies) and really enjoyed the food and service for our celebration dinner. The staff in the restaurant are professional and friendly, the atmosphere cosy (the restaurant is not too big and not too small) and the food was tasty and just what we were after. The breakfast buffet was pretty good.

Overall, the staff at the Heritage are very professional - as you wander through the hotel, everyone gives you a smile and friendly greeting.

The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the town centre, but we didn't mind a bit of a walk (some steep bits) through a little forest to get that extra bit of fitness. It's a beautiful, quiet location, away from the very busy bustle and crowds of the town centre, and just what we were after for a comfortable stay.

Great location away from the hustle of the main town - but close enough for walking to cafes, things to see, etc. Rooms were spacious and well set out - three types - Forest, Waterfall and Lakeside views. Staff were friendly and attentive - had meals in the restaurant very yummy and reasonable prices.

Good hotel just away from the clutter of the town but walkable or quick bus service from outside the building. Staff and breakfast excellent. Room was large enough. Reasonable sized pool. Try and get a lakeside room.
